Freelance Writing
Always thought you had a knack for writing, but never gave it much thought for a career? Over the past decade, a career known as freelance writing has sprung up and been running rampant not only across America, but all over the world. There are thousands upon thousand of jobs waiting for you just for being good at one skill set of writing. There's article writing, journalism, technical writing, creative writing, eBooks, recipes -- the possibilities are endless, and the amount of employers that want to hire you just keep on coming!
Of course the path isn't always bright and shiny. It can be difficult as a newbie to find your niche in the writing world, or to begin getting employers to actually want you. You have to learn the ways of the freelancing community and use them to the best of your ability. I suggest first checking out Master Dayton's blog. When you feel like you've done enough research on the freelance writing field in question, check out Elance, Guru, oDesk, and Freelancer, among the many other writing sites there are out there.
Blogging
Many people have become open to the idea of blogging as a professional career nowadays. Though it can be just as difficult as freelance writing, if not more, it is possible to make blogging into a full-time job. If you want to start out with just a blogging site on a mass blogging site, I'd suggest trying out WordPress, Blogger, or Weebly.
Personally, I found WordPress to be a very close community, with lots of positive feedback and people following you. It's very friendly and open to new bloggers, and I would definitely suggest going there before the other two if this is your first time blogging.
Weebly is good for creating your own website, though it can be limited with design at some time, and I believe it's a bit more pricey than WordPress is. I myself haven't actually tried Blogger, though I've heard a lot of good reviews about it.
Online Surveys
Surprisingly enough, there are a lot of professional online surveyers who seem to make this into a career. All you have to do is sign up for some of the many free survey sites, take the surveys, and instantly earn money. It seems like a fairly easy job, but I assume it can get tedious as the hours go by, one survey after another. If you do happen to pick this as a career, I also strongly suggest picking an interesting hobby or past time, so as to not shoot your brains out from the boredom.
Buy and Sell Domains
Ah yes, many people nowadays have discovered the beautiful idea of buying website names cheap and selling them off in the thousands (or even millions!). There's no limit to what people won't buy out there, so the possibilities for making this career go somewhere are endless. GoDaddy is a great site to buy domains off of.
Become a Professional Reseller
From personal experience, I can assure you that this can earn you at least some heavy spending money, if not enough income to provide for you. Buying items online, like off Craigslist, Ebay, or Amazon, and selling them off for higher than what you bought them is an easy way to earn money fast.
Honestly, there aren't many more ways to make a full-time living online, though others might trick you into thinking there are. There are some side jobs, and jobs that will give you about the same amount as part-time pay, but those are mediocre in comparison to what you could be doing; not only living, but being comfortable with your financial situation. Don't you want that? Don't you deserve that?
